FREE ONLINE PUBLIC LECTURE
The United Nations has adopted 2021-2030 as the Decade of Healthy Ageing. The Decade with have four themes: changing the way we think feel and act about ageing; building communities that foster the abilities of older people; delivering person-centred integrated care and primary health services responsive to older people; and providing access to long-term care for older people who need it.
Professor John Beard from ARC Centre of Excellence in Population Ageing Research and University of New South Wales will explain the Decade’s background and underlying concepts and the potential it offers countries around the world for improving the lives of people as they age.
