Promoting and protecting the mental health of children and young people in the era of COVID19

  • Event Date: 11/06/2020
  • Time: 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM
The COVID-19 pandemic is having major impacts on the lives of children, young people, and their parents. Children and young people have been less able to interact with friends and their learning has changed, while parents have been dealing with unemployment or juggling work and homeschooling. This webinar will explore how we can support children, young people, and parents during this difficult time and reduce the risk of mental health conditions among these groups.
You will be able to post questions to our presenter.
Please note: The webinar is NOT an individual or group counseling service. If you need mental health treatment and support you should contact your GP, go to headtohealth.gov.au or contact Beyond Blue 1300 22 4636
We acknowledge the Wurundjeri people and other peoples of the Kulin nation as the traditional owners of the land on which our work in the community takes place. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present.
