This year EMHSCA is providing 2 events on the 11th October to improve staff knowledge of available services for people who experience mental ill-health, substance use issues and co-occurring concerns. This is a great networking opportunity!
These 2 events are complementary, however they require people to register individually to attend.
The first (9am – 1pm) is an Orientation for new and/or interested staff from inner and outer eastern region health and community services and aims to increase awareness of service cultures whilst providing information about the various local service providers. A marketplace of service providers is included and the event will be held in the main ballroom at Box Hill Town Hall.
EMHSCA Open House service showcase
The second (1.30pm-4.30pm) is a Service showcase where any interested staff may select from a range of service specific and topical presentations.
These events are FREE OF CHARGE and include tea, coffee and biscuits. No other catering is supplied. Teams attending may like to arrange a picnic lunch (on tables in the ballroom or on the lawns) if staying for the whole day. Tasty Trucks and a coffee van will also attend to provide purchasable refreshments.
