Health Justice 2019

Health Justice 2019 is for anyone interested in the intersections between health and justice.

In 2017, Health Justice Australia hosted the first national conference on health justice partnerships. This year, we’ve set an even bigger challenge: to create a meeting place for everyone interested in the intersections of health and justice – including health justice partnerships and beyond.

Health Justice 2019 brings together the best minds working at the intersection of health and justice to get you thinking, provide opportunities to learn new skills and facilitate connections with a broad range of people who share your interests.

Over this two-day program, high calibre speakers will bring a broad range of perspectives on the complex challenges faced by people experiencing unmet legal need that intersects with poor health. Health Justice 2019 will also provide a unique opportunity to build networks and collaborate, across research, service delivery and systems change to improve health, justice and wellbeing.

We acknowledge the Wurundjeri people and other peoples of the Kulin nation as the traditional owners of the land on which our work in the community takes place. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present.
