  • Event Date: 30/11/2021

The Greening the Healthcare Sector Forum is going ahead on 30 November, 2021! Save the date to join us online or in person.

This year’s theme is ‘Working towards a net zero emissions, climate resilient, equitable and environmentally sustainable healthcare sector: ensuring good health for all’

CAHA is proud to be delivering this Forum in partnership with Pacific region Global Green and Healthy Hospitals (GGHH) members. UnitingCare Queensland are partnering with CAHA to co-present the Forum. Metro North Health are hosting the Forum at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Education Centre, on Turrbal and Jagera/Yuggara country (Herston, Brisbane).

The Forum will feature current research and policy to support the transition to net zero carbon and environmentally sustainable healthcare, and showcase practical examples of environmentally sustainable healthcare in action. It will provide an opportunity for connection, knowledge sharing, learning, and upskilling.

This Forum is for anyone interested in improving the environmental footprint of healthcare (including aged care) and fostering a healthy future for people and the planet including: healthcare sustainability champions (operations, clinical, support, leadership); healthcare executive and management; health contractors, suppliers, manufacturers; government health and environment and sustainability leaders and representatives; academics and researchers; students; sustainability innovators and practitioners.

There will be options to join online or in person (COVID permitting – with plans in place to move to a 100% online Forum if required).

More details to come!
