From Attitudes to Action – Workplace Equality and Respect

You’ll hear about:

  • the recently developed Victorian Workplace Equality and Respect Standards,
  • how these standards can be used
  • why they are so timely in the context of the latest data on sexual harassment in the workplace and national community attitudes to violence against women.

There will also be a dynamic panel discussing their experiences of embedding equality and respect processes and policy into workplaces, including:

  • Corinne Manning, Metropolitan Fire Brigade
  • Dr Bridie O’Donnell, Head of the Office for Women in Sport and Recreation
  • Dr Adele Murdolo, Executive Director of Multicultural Centre for Women’s Health
  • A representative from Male Champions of Change

This forum is hosted by VicHealth, in partnership with the Victorian Government – Office for Women and Respect Victoria. The forums have been designed to support Victorian policy makers and practitioners engaged in the whole of government commitment to prevent violence against women and promote gender equality.
