Bushfire Recovery Outcomes – get involved

Bushfire Recovery Outcomes – get involved
As part of its Bushfire Recovery Project, VCOSS is developing a Bushfire Recovery Outcomes Framework for Community Organisations to help identify and measure their contribution to bushfire recovery.  VCOSS is committed to gathering the ideas, thoughts and concepts from community service organisations to ensure the framework reflects bushfire recovery outcomes achieved across the sector.

We encourage organisations to contribute to this important work by attending a workshop. Your involvement will provide important inputs and insights to this process. We need your voice to capture:
  • Your community’s success stories in recovery
  • The positive changes that your organisation is achieving
  • The lessons learnt from the recovery journey
  • The challenges for your communities
The workshops will also provide a valuable opportunity to connect with others from across the community sector and share and learn from diverse experiences.
The workshops will be facilitated by Elaine Hendrick who is supporting VCOSS with this project. The workshops, to take place during June, will be held via Zoom and are scheduled to take 1.5 hours.
We acknowledge the Wurundjeri people and other peoples of the Kulin nation as the traditional owners of the land on which our work in the community takes place. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present.
