Virtual Coffee With… Nang Souphaphone, Program Support Officer, Inner East PCP

This month IEPCP interviews our new Project Support Officer Nang Souphaphone. Nang came from Laos as Australian Award Scholarship recipient to study a Diploma of Community Services at Holmesglen. She has spent many hours as a volunteer for Universities, community organisations, state and local government and others, to support vulnerable marginalized communities. Nang is a student ambassador of Holmesglen and Study Melbourne and supports other international students. She is currently assisting in the project against racism with Resilience Against Racism, Center for Multicultural Youth, Scanlon Foundation and Study Melbourne. She also volunteers with Climate For Change to raise awareness of climate change. She joins us as a Program Support on a project aiming to address the barriers that prevent international students from accessing support.

We acknowledge the Wurundjeri people and other peoples of the Kulin nation as the traditional owners of the land on which our work in the community takes place. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present.
