Being an Active Bystander to Prevent Violence Against Women

This three-hour active bystander training by Women’s Health Victoria supports participants to speak up when confronted with everyday sexism and sexual harassment, as well as a range of behaviours and attitudes that justify, excuse, blame, trivialise or minimise violence against women.

Braiding Knowledge aims to build on existing knowledge in identifying and responding to LGBTIQ intimate partner and family violence, and to introduce the new service, w/respect, to the sector.
