TFER: Embedding Intersectionality across our Prevention Practice

This is the first of four sessions. The aim of our workshop series is to embed intersectionality across our prevention practice and work places. Through the four sessions we will explore intersectionality in the context of TFER partner’s PVAW and Gender Equality practice, strategies and approaches. Our workshops will utilise mixed modes of learning and participatory processes and activities. We will also explore the theory of intersectionality and best practice principles through practical local examples from the Migrant Information Center.

We acknowledge the Wurundjeri people and other peoples of the Kulin nation as the traditional owners of the land on which our work in the community takes place. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present.
